Research Focus
Dr. Yosef Sintayehu Jemberie is a postdoctoral fellow at the Makerere Institute of Social Research, Makerere University, Uganda. Previously, he was a lecturer of history and philosophy at Samara University, Ethiopia. His research focus includes the history and theory of state formations in Africa and beyond, comparative genealogies of political modernity, and the philosophy of humor.
