Mouaffaq Dagosha is a PhD candidate at the Makerere Institute of Social Research (MISR). His professional background is mostly in the humanitarian sector and the civil society, with more than 8 years of experience in Sudan, Syria, and Uganda.

Research Focus
My work is driven by a strong commitment to Sudan, and the Wider Horn of Africa, am interested in the intersection of the state, political economy, and democracy.
